Colours of Istanbul Estanbul is an old city, you can see the remains of many ancient civilizations and their culture in harmony with Turkish culture. Ancient and modern, religious and secular, Asia and Europe, mystical and earthly all co-exist here.


Boshorus Race 2010 Asia to Europe internatinal swimming, rowing, canoeing and sailing competitions to be held under the auspices of the international Olympic Committee. You can swim between two continents, from Asia to Europe during this organization.


Cunda is a town with fascinating Byzantine, Greek and Roman ruins, some dating from the 7th century. The ancient Roman walled city of Side stands on a peninsular flanked by glorious beaches of golden sand. Theater, Roman baths,various temple ruins and a beautiful fountain.


Every April since 2006, the city government in Istanbul has planted three million Tulips in Istanbul's parks, avenues, traffic roundabouts and...really anywhere there is open ground. The result is a glorious spring flower festival with brilliant splashes of color everywhere you look.


Most Seagulls don't bother to learn more than the simplest facts of flight - how to get from shore to food and back again. For most gulls, it is not flying that matters, but eating. For this gull, though, it was not eating that mattered, but flight. More than anything else. Jonathan Livingston Seagull loved to fly . . .


Tall Noble Sailing Race, A tradition since 1956, the Tall Noble Sailing Race have been done in Aegean, Marmara and Black Sea waters fort he first time in its history with the support of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture.


Sinop is situated on Boztepe Cape and Peninsula, which is the sharpest point toward the north, on the shore of the Black Sea. The name of the Sinop comes from Sinope which was the name of the beautiful daughter of the River god Aesop of Greek mythology.


Beautiful examples of Black and White Photography often awake nostalgic feelings of the 20th century, the good old times. And also It's one of the best and cheapest types of photography for the beginners to test their creativity.


The city İstanbul , 2010 European Capital of Culture , hosted sport events 13. European Short Course Swimming Championship on 10-13 December 2009 in Abdi İpekçi Arena. Abdi İpekçi Arena will be temporarily transformed into an Olympic swimming pool.


Antalya, The pearl of Mediterranean, is an attractive city with shady palm-lined boulevards and a prize-winning marina.The snow remains on the top of Toros and Bay mountains during hot seasons and you may swim in the warm waters of Mediterranean at the same day.The summers are hot and rainless while the other months are warm and often rainy.In this area one can observe, as it were, the progress of history through the statues of gods and goddesses,temples, theatres, agoras,churches, mosques,tombs


Tilt-shift Photography is a creative and unique type of photography in which the camera is manipulated so that a life-sized location or subject looks like a miniature-scale model.
Tilt-Shift photography is all about changing the angle of the camera to give a different perspective and to make something look bigger or smaller.


Snow ,is a beauty in İstanbul and turning cityscapes into artful scenes in everwhere in the city. Just take a look these photos and you will understand what I mean. Have Fun :)


Erzurum is the largest province in Eastern Anatolia and is located on a high plateau (1950 m). The province has always been a transportation junction and is now the transfer point for air, rail or bus connections for travelers coming to easte. Palandoken winter sports resort which is reached by mountain roads of scenic beauty. Only 6 kms from Erzurum, this winter sports spot is competitive with those of Europe.


The Siberian Husky is a medium-size, dense-coat working dog breed that originated in eastern Siberia. While I took the Siberian Husky photos I feel sad about them becuase they are away from their home and They have to live without snow in most year.. Hope They can live in their natural environmet always.


Presidential Cycling Tour,Included on the calendar of the International Cycling Union (UCI), the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey has been upgraded to 2.HC in 2010 and is now one of the 17 prestigious stage races in the same category.


Children Photography is sometimes fun and sometimes very hard to take. These are the showcase photos that I try took them in diffrent places and situations.


The Cigdem Plateau at 1500m on the Elmacik Mountains near the town of Dokurcun in Adapazarı-Akyazi, Sultanpinari in Akyazi, the Acelle plateaus and Suluklugol. The structure of interest including the home of the plateau, "topukotu" so-called wide area covered with grass, small and slightly curved around the hill with a planned landscape is very nice

Built in the 11th century and decorated in the 14th, the Church of St. Savior in Chora (formerly the Kariye Camii and now the Kariye Müzesi) in Istanbul contains one of the best-preserved collections of Byzantine mosaics and frescoes anywhere.


Cats what can we say about them. They are pretty and naughty. Taking their photo is joyfull too.

Mansions...There are lots of old mansions all around the Istanbul from old city Sultanahmet to Bosphorus. Here you can see some photos from these magnificient Mansions.


Maiden Tower (Kız Kulesi) was first built by the ancient Athenian general Alcibiades in 408 BC to control the movements of the Persian ships in the Bosphorus strait. Back then the tower was located between the ancient cities of Byzantion and Chrysopolis. Used as a lighthouse for centuries, the interior of the tower has been transformed into a popular café and restaurant, with an excellent view of the former Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman capital


Haydarpaşa Railway Station must be one of the more scenic transport hubs in the world. The Station has provided a crucial link between Turkey and the rest of the Middle East for over a century. The imposing Neo-Renaissance style building resembles a German castle and is surrounded on three sides by water. The railway station was constructed between 1906 and 1908 by a predominately German team.


The Dolmabahçe Palace, a blend of various European architectural styles, was built between 1843-1856 by Karabet Balyan, the court architect of Sultan Abdulmecid. The Ottoman sultans had many palaces in all ages, but the Topkapi was the official residence until the completion of the Dolmabahce Palace.
The three-storied palace built on a symmetrical plan has 285 rooms and 43 halls. There is a 600 m long quay along the sea and two monumental gates, one of them very ornate, on the land side.


The Ortakoy Mosque, is situated on the waterside of the Ortaköy pier square in the Beşiktaş District, one of the most popular locations on the Bosphorus. The Ortakoy Mosque, built in the 19th century, has reached our times as the main component onlooking the Bosphorus.


Turkuazoo Istanbul Aquarium is a vital additional value to the cultural city of Istanbul. Turkey’s first Turkuazoo giant aquarium in Istanbul is located in the new Forum Istanbul in Bayrampasa. Forum Istanbul is one of Europe’s largest shopping centres and the first shopping centre in the world with a mega aquarium. Turkuazoo offers family fun for those wishing to spend time in the underwater world, promising an unforgettable experience.


Topkapı Palace is one of the most astounding and popular places to visit in İstanbul is Topkapı Palace, the symbolic and political centre of the Ottoman Empire in between the 15th and 19th centuries It stands on the tip of land where the Golden Horn, the Sea of Marmara and the İstanbul strait come together, and is a maze of buildings centered around a series of courtyards, typical of Islamic tradition. Such is the complexity of each building, it will take many hours in order to be explored properly.


The Church of the Holy Wisdom, known as Hagia Sophia in Greek, Sancta Sophia in Latin, and Ayasofya in Turkish, is a former Byzantine church and former Ottoman mosque in Istanbul. Now a museum, Hagia Sophia is universally acknowledged as one of the great buildings of the world.


Sapanca is a town and a district of Sakarya Province in the Marmara region of Turkey where you will find Peace and quiet in the middle of the nature.


St. Irini – Aya Irini Museum is located in the first courtyard of Topkapi Palace as one of the most magnificent and greatest Byzantine churches along with St. Sophia (Aya Sofya). St. Irini was built during the period of Emperor Justinianus in VI. Since the church was not turned into a mosque after the conquest of Istanbul in 1453, there were no remarkable changes in the building.


Turkish Maritime Lines(TML) operates regular scheduled services across the Bosphorus from both sides, the main terminals being at Üsküdar and Kadıköy on the Asian shore and Beşiktaş, Karaköy and Eminönü on the European shore. TML also runs daily cruises up and down the Bosphorus. Boats leave once or twice a day depending on the season and zigzag all the way up to Anadolu Kavağı, where they stop for lunch before returning back to Eminönü.


Galata Tower was built by the Genoese in 1348, during their occupation of the area, primarily to prevent attacks. Originally known as the Tower of Christ, it stood above the fortification surrounding the Genoese city-state. There is a spiral rock staircase which ascends to the top viewing platform, which today offers visitors spectacular 360 degree panorama of the entire city.


The cascading domes and six slender minarets of the Sultanahmet Mosque (Also known as "Blue Mosque") dominate the skyline of Istanbul. In the 17th century, Sultan Ahmet I wished to build an Islamic place of worship that would be even better than the Hagia Sophia, and the mosque named for him is the result. The two great architectural achievements now stand next to each other in Istanbul's main square, and it is up to visitors to decide which is more impressive.


Suleymaniye MosqueAt one’s first glance there are two things that are particularly remarkable in the ancient monuments of the Ottomans: the choice of the site and the perfect unity of the whole. Whether or not it is in a ra~sed place, the site always has a view of vast open spaces and however far one may look, one may see the sky.

Kanyon Shopping Mall is the most beautiful concept in Istanbul. It is located at Levent district and It can easily be reached via the Metro line which starts at Taksim square.
